Campus Ministry

Purpose and Goals of Organization:
The purpose of Campus Ministry is to encourage students to become a disciple of Jesus Christ, to nurture student leadership, to cultivate authentic biblical community on campus, and to expose students to the global nature of the body of Christ.

Membership Requirements and Obligations:
To become a member of Campus Ministry, an individual must attend one Campus Ministry meeting or event. There are no other obligations or dues.

Activities and Events Planned for Current Year:
Large group meetings, small group bible studies, fall and winter retreats, local monthly service projects, Spring break mission trip to India.

Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship 

Purposes and Goals of Organization:
The mission shall be to develop the spiritual life and abilities of the students in relation to God, to each other, and to the world at large with a Penticostal christian context- consistent with the Assemblies of God teachings.

Membership Requirements and Obligations:
All meetings and activities are open to all students, faculty, and staff. Anyone who desires to participate in the meetings and activities may become a general member.

Voting membership: 1. express interest, once invited. 2. Attend 75% of nonmember meetings in the last year. 3. Have been a member for one semester. 4. Embrace the purpose of the chapter stated in article II on the constitution.

Coalition for christian Outreach of IPFW (CCO)

Purpose and Goals of Organization:

Build a vibrant community on campus that benefits all IPFW students; Develop students spiritually, with focus on Christian character and growing in compassion for the world; To live out our faith by serving the community in explicit partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters; Encourage thoughtful exploration of the Christian faith in all areas of life.

Membership Requirements and Obligations:

No dues will be collected from members of CCO; General membership is open to all students enrolled in at least 1 credit hour at IPFW and who has attended one or more CCO meetings; Voting members attain voting rights by participating in CCO for at least one calendar year and attending at least 7 meetings in the previous semester to vote. A meeting is defined as any gathering organized by a CCO president, vice president, advisor, or secondary advisor; Members may be expelled from this organization for conduct unbecoming and for violations of the student code of conduct.

Free Bible Now

Purposes and Goals of Organization:
The goal of this organization is to give every student, regardless of language or culture, the opportunity to own a bible.

Membership Requirements and Obligations: The requirements of members for this organization include actively participating in most of the organizations activities, and, if asked, to go the extra mile in order to fulfill the goals of the organization. There are no dues currently. Induction is minimal. Expulsion is only recommended in casese in which a member is actively working against the goals of Free Bible Now.

Global Christian Fellowship

Purpose and Goals of Organization:
To be a welcoming and accepting community toward international and American students of all faiths and backgrounds. To serve students on various Fort Wayne campuses through practical needs, meeting American families, building bridges with American students, and hearing and learning about Jesus Christ and his teachings.

Membership Requirements and Obligations:
We are open to all students in Fort Wayne universities. At least 51% of members must be enrolled IPFW students. Only enrolled IPFW students may vote. Membership shall follow the policies of the IPFW Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct as state in Part I, Section A, Items 3 and 4. Non-student membership may be held by faculty, staff, alumni, or community members. They may not, however vote, or hold office. There are no financial obligations for members.

Friday evening international discussions, Thanksgiving without borders, Christmas Party, Conferences and Camps.

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Purpose and Goals of Organization:
The purpose of InterVarsity at IPFW is to have a place for Christian students to come and have fellowship while growing spiritually together. Our goal is to share God's love and purpose to all on campus.

Membership Requirements and Obligations: 
There are no formal requirements to be in InterVarsity. Any student is welcome to be involved regardless of religion, ethnic, or racial background. Leaders have formal requirements outlined in Constitution.

Mastodon Catholics (Formerly known as Newman Catholic Fellowship)

Purpose and Goals of Organization:
To bring together interested Catholic and non-Catholic students, faculty, and staff to provide opportunities for growth, prayer, worship, and community. In addition, this group seeks to foster discussion and leadership among its student members encouraging them to reach out and better both campus and the community.

Membership Requirements and Obligations:
Membership is open to all IPFW students and may include a limited number of non-students, faculty and staff. 51% of the total membership must be currently enrolled students at IPFW and only those members may vote, hold office, and represent the organization. Membership shall be free from discrimination and harassment per the policies of the IPFW code of student rights, responsibilities and conduct.

Activities and Events Planned for Current Year:
Mass on campus, annual fall retreat, service and fellowship, study groups.
