Tapestry: A Day for Women

April 23, 2010 | Allen County War Memorial Coliseum

What is Tapestry?

Our Mission

Tapestry is a day of inspiration, renewal and education for women in all stages of life while raising funds for women's scholarships at IPFW. Join us Friday, April 23, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. for an entire day just for you!

The Results

Tapestry proceeds support the Tapestry Parkview Endowment and Scholarship funds to provide scholarships to women studying health sciences at IPFW. Since its beginning in 2002, Tapestry has raised nearly $300,000 and awarded $41,000 in scholarships. Join us on April 23, 2010 as we award an incredible $35,000 in scholarship funds.

Why Attend?

You are a woman.

  • A woman who believes in helping other women finish their education.
  • A woman who believes that others should be recognized for dedication to their family, community and profession.

You do it all–daughter, wife, mother, care-giver, cook, organizer, chauffeur, maid, travel agent, teacher, employee, boss, mentor, etc. You deserve a day to be you, just you.

  • Catch-up with your friends and colleagues.
  • Shop a little, or a lot, there will be plenty of temptations.

You want mental nourishment.

  • Learn something new or do something fun at the breakout sessions.
  • Be inspired by the scholarship recipients, dedication honoree, and our keynote speaker, Sandra Lee from the Food Network series Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee.

Tickets go on sale in February 2010. E-mail us at tapestry@ipfw.edu with your mailing address to receive ticket information as soon as it is available.
