Student Organization Recognition

All student organizations must achieve recognition prior to October 1st annually.  Recognition includes the following:

1. Obtain an Advisor
This person must be a full-time member of the IPFW faculty or staff.  This advisor will need to complete an Advisor’s Responsibility form and submit it to Student Life.

2. Complete and Submit a Report Form to Student Life
This form includes the organizations’ purpose, goals, officer and advisor information. The Report Form is to be completed and turned in within one week of officer elections.

3. Attend Officer Training
The organizations’ president and treasurer must each attend a training session in order to become officially recognized.

That's it! Once a student organization is recognized they are granted all associated rights and privileges for one academic year.
