What is ROTC?

ROTC is the Reserve Officer Training Corps. It is an actual class that you take with your regular curriculum. The name of our class is Foundation Officership and it is located under the Military Science and Leadership category in the IPFW course guide.

Our main focus is to give students valuable information and to let them experience what the Army is like. There is no commitment with our class.

Some of our activities include: paintball, laser tag, rock climbing, rappelling, and land navigation. We do physical fitness training every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning before school starts. We also have 2 overnight training periods every year.

We have many scholarship opportunities available and other programs to help with financial assistance. If you would like more information about ROTC, please fill out the information request form or contact us directly. Thank you for visiting our Web site.

IPFW is an Equal Opportunity/Equal Access University.
