Tenure Track Faculty Position

Assistant Professor of Physics

The Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne Physics Department invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2010. Requirements include a Ph.D. and commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. This position will have a 0.75 teaching and 0.25 research commitment with expectations that the successful candidate develop an independent on-campus research program involving undergraduates. Research areas of interest are: Physics Education, Computational Physics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Optics, Chemical Physics, Nonlinear Physics, Fluid Dynamics, Biophysics, Medical Physics, and Applied Physics.  The Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne Physics Department offers B.S. degrees in Physics and Physics Teaching.  Submit CV, reprints, research and teaching interest statement, and three recommendation letters to Mark F.
