  • Twenty-first Century Scholars

The 21st Century Scholars Program was launched in 1990 with the goal of increasing the number of low- and moderate-income Indiana students enrolling in college. The Scholars program aims to ensure that all Indiana families can afford a college education for their children.

To receive eight free semesters of tuition at an Indiana post-secondary institution, participating families must meet income guidelines and enroll their student in the program during middle school. Students sign a pledge, and must complete various requirements during their middle school and high school years, with support and assistance from the 21st Century Scholars program staff.

IPFW’s 21st Century Scholars Success Program is housed within the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs in Walb Student Union, Room 120. The program staff is there to answer questions, troubleshoot, and help Scholars navigate program requirements.
