Transforming Human Capital Management

Thank you for visiting our page to learn more about Transform Purdue where we will streamline, simplify, organize and automate our business processes.

This is a multi-layered approach to the transformation of how we do business across the University.  Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) has already launched with Human Capital Management (HCM) following close behind.  We expect HCM (SuccessFactors) to launch in April, 2018 and transform how we attract, hire and maintain employees to our University.

On November 13, 2017, the onboarding experts will be here from West Lafayette to share with us what we can expect from the onboarding module of SuccessFactors – the software associated with HCM. Onboarding is the process that we use once an employee accepts an offer of employment – completing new hire paperwork and preparing the PA.  All onboarding will take place in SuccessFactors including student workers and temporary employees. Please plan on attending this highly informational deep dive session. 

We will begin at 1:30pm and wrap up about 3:00pm.  There will be time for Q & A at the end.  This meeting will take place in LA room 35A.

On November 30, 2017 the recruiting experts will be here from West Lafayette to share with us what we can expect from the recruiting module of SuccessFactors.  All recruiting will take place through SuccessFactors including faculty, staff, student workers and temporary employees.  Please plan on attending this highly informational deep dive session.

Objectives:

Redesign the organizational structure and utilization of current job family structure project will streamline approval paths for manager, standardize job family structure across campus and show career path possibilities for employees.

Implement a new benefits administrator will provide cost savings due to easier system interfaces and process simplification.

SAP SuccessFactors will support re-engineered processes, increasing mobile functionality and data integration.

Business process redesign will be based on the standard application for the software, limiting manual forms, processes and approvals performed outside the system
