Telework as a Flexible Work Option

IPFW Human Resources is pleased to offer information and guidelines for supervisors on telework as a flexible work option.  These guidelines are being offered to assist supervisors and their exempt and non-exempt employees in determining if telework is a viable option when considering a flexible work schedule. 

Telework, also known as telecommuting, remote work, virtual work, and mobile work refers to work done outside the traditional on-site work environment.  Telework jobs may be completely virtual or mobile, or may be various arrangements that enable the employee to work from home a few days per week or month.
