Diversity & Inclusion in the Workplace

Diversity and inclusion (D&I) are at the core of an organization’s culture. Having a diverse and inclusive culture will positively affect innovation and your organization’s productivity. It’s no longer a nice-to-have thing. A strong D&I strategy aligned with your organization’s business objectives is imperative. Gone are the days when it was only about affirmative action.

Join us prior to the Mastodon Job and Internship Fair on September 21, 2017 from 11:00am to 12:00pm in the Gates Athletic Center for a panel discussion with Tamara Brownlee, Director of Human Resources and Office of Institutional Equity, as the moderator. Your colleagues will share best practices for creating a work culture that recruits, engages, and retains diverse teams.

Outcomes:

  • Learn how to modify recruitment and hiring practices to reach a more diverse candidate pool
