Top 50 Award



A student nominee must be registered and in good standing at IPFW and meet the following criteria:

  • By accepting your nomination, you are giving the IPFW Top 50 committee permission to review your student record, including any academic or disciplinary records on file with the university. The IPFW Top 50 Review Committee reserves the right to disqualify any student based on information received from the Dean of Students office. Students who are selected as Top 50 students may be removed from the IPFW Top 50 at any point, if they are found to be in violation of this code. We attempt to verify eligibility prior to the announcement of the Top 50 students; however, sometimes information comes to light after we have publically released the names. Academic and Professional Misconduct reports will be shared with the IPFW Top 50 Review Committee. If there is something on record that causes the student to question his or her eligibility, he or she should contact the Dean of Students office at 260-481-6601 to review the file.
  • You must be a currently enrolled, degree seeking junior, senior, or graduate student on the IPFW campus.
  • For graduate students:The student must have completed a minimum of 3 semesters and 18 credit hours applicable to his/her degree program; all of those hours must have been completed at the IPFW campus, as of the fall 2016 semester.
  • You must have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 as of the fall 2016 semester. There will be no exceptions
  • You can only receive this award twice. Typically, once as a junior and once as a senior

Important Dates

  • December 18, 2017 — Nominations begin
  • February 16, 2018 - NOMINATION DEADLINE
  • February 20, 2018 — Deadline for students to accept nomination and have all material returned
  • March 21, 2018 - Tickets go on sale to public
  • March 27 & 28, 2018 - Headshots completed  - Tentative 
  • April 16, 2018 - RSVP's due for Top 50
  • April 21, 2018 - Top 50 Awards
