Readmission & Probation

The following information is applicable to students wishing to be readmitted to the Mastodon Advising Center.

If you have been academically dismissed from IPFW or any other Indiana University or Purdue University campus and you wish to be (re)enrolled at IPFW, you must go through the readmission process. Please note that academically dismissed students are prohibited from enrolling at IPFW until one Fall or Spring semester has passed since their dismissal (i.e., if a student is dismissed after the Fall semester they may begin the readmission process for the following Fall semester).

Bring to the workshop:

  • 2 copies of your previous Indiana or Purdue transcripts
  • 2 official transcripts from all institutions attended since your dismissal
  • If you are currently enrolled at another university bring a letter on school letterhead, signed by your professor, indicating your current grade. Bring a separate letter for each course for which you are enrolled.
  • Your personal planner (calendar) with your schedule

Workshop topics will include:

  • Procedures for readmission
  • Application standards
  • Indiana and Purdue retake policies
  • Registration procedures
  • Motivation and Strategies for Success

Note: You must be on time. No one will be admitted after the session begins.
