While not in a professional capacity, Bonnie has traveled across the United States and Europe in her career as a journalist, and also studied in London while in college.
Bonnie says, "If I could go anywhere, I'd like to go to South America and Australia."
She recently moved into a house and allegedly spends her free time digging in her garden and trying to keep her basement from flooding. She also likes reading mysteries by John D. McDonald and Dick Francis, and is a talented amateur photographer.
