  • June 26: The Keys to Improving Your Golf Game 12-1 pm, Walb Union Alumni Plaza lawn. IPFW Women's Golf coach and IPFW Strength and Conditioning Coach will help you improve or get ready for your best summer of golf ever! Ask questions and hear it from the pros! July 2009

  • July 7: IPFW Summer Session II Fitness Classes Begin. Visit www.ipfw.edu/fitness for more information! Movement for Life and Mid-Day Yoga Stress Break.
  • July 15: IPFW Summer Fest. Annual employee summer programming. Sponsored by CCSAC.
  • July 15: IPFW Summer Fest Morning Fitness 2 Mile Walk. 6:45 PM-Hilliard Gates Sports Center. Join us for a 2 mile walk to get your day started on the right foot! Island Themed Fun!
  • July 20: Fruit and Vegetable Challenge Begins. An annual Healthy Purdue summer tradition. Keep a log of how many fruits and vegetables you consume each day for the next six weeks. Challenge yourself or create a team and challenge each other! Purple Healthy Purdue Wellness Apple.
  • July 29: Cholesterol Screenings. 7:00-10:00 am, Walb Union 222. IPFW Employees, IPFW Retirees, and their spouses receive a free yearly cholesterol (and more!) exam. Register for your screening today. Complete Healthy Purdue before November 20, 2009.
  • July 28: Canning and Freezing. 12-1 pm, KT G46. Purdue Coop Extension office will offer tips and how-tos to help you preserve your great summer harvest! Red Healthy Purdue Wellness Apple.

 

Ongoing:

  • Drop in to a fitness class anytime at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center! Drop-in fee is only $5. Check in at the customer service desk located at the entrance to the fitness center.
