Students

You are about to embark on one of the most exciting journeys of your life.  As you make decisions about college and your future, you will need to be well-equipped to make these important decisions.  IPFW recognizes this fact, so we have created a new program, First Year Experience (FYE).  First Year Experience helps you in the transition from high school to college and help you make those critical connections that lead to academic success.  Getting involved in FYE Learning Communities will connect you with other students, faculty, staff, and campus resources.

Learning Communities

IPFW is offering Learning Communities. Each Learning Community features a unique combination of linked classes.  Students move through these classes as a group and develop key social connections that lead to success.  Research shows that students who participate in learning communities have higher grades and are more likely to stay in college.  Get Connected to FYE Learning Communities this fall. Your involvement in FYE is one of the first important decisions you make as you transition to college.

We look forward to seeing each of you at SOAR this summer. Be sure to check out the FYE display at the Resource Fair to learn all about FYE Learning Communities.

IPFW is an Equal Opportunity/Equal Access University.
