Disbursing Funds

Once your Master Promissory Note is received by your lender and your Loan Entrance Interview is complete, the Financial Aid office will be able to disburse your funds to the Bursar’s office. Your funds will be applied to your tuition, fees, and housing (if applicable). If excessive funds remain, the Bursar's office will generate a refund by direct deposit or paper check for you.

During the week before classes begin, you will not be able to pick up your refund from the Bursar’s office. Your refund by direct deposit (ACH transfer to your bank or credit union account) or paper check will be mailed this week before classes begin. During the first week of classes and thereafter, you may pick up your refund check with a drivers license or government issued ID. If your refund check is not picked up by the Friday after it has been generated, it will be mailed to you.
