The Commission for Higher Education announced the Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship Program, offering up to $7500 each year for high achieving students in Indiana interested in teaching.
Applications are open November 1 through December 31, 2016. For more information about the scholarship, visit LearnMoreIndiana.org/NextTeacher

  • Elementary Education students complete 309 Hours of Field Experience before student teaching
  • Secondary Education students complete 150 Hours of Field Experience before student teaching
  • 20 Full-time professors
  • 16 Undergraduate and Graduate Programs and majors
  • Almost 700 Teachers employed by Fort Wayne Community Schools earned their degrees at IPFW
