Matching Companies
Many companies encourage employees to be philanthropic by matching employee gifts to colleges and universities. Most companies match dollar for dollar, and some will even match 2:1 or 3:1.
Matching gifts go to the same programs to which you designated your gift unless company policy requires otherwise. Matching gifts count toward your membership in donor recognition clubs.
Most companies require the employee to obtain the company’s matching gift form (usually from personnel or human resources), complete the form, and send the form to IPFW along with your gift.
