Community Achievement Award


Congratulations to Mark GiaQuinta, Attorney with Haller and Colvin and President of the Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of Trustees, on being named the 2016 Community Achievement Award recipient.  This award was presented to Mr. GiaQuinta at the Department of Public Policy Graduation Award reception on April 18, 2016.

Student Success Story

Kody Tinnel

Kody Tinnel earned a B.S.P.A. in Public Management in 2012 and an M.P.A. in May 2015. His professional experience includes various roles at IPFW and a position at Community Action of Northeast Indiana (now called Brightpoint). He recently accepted a new role in the Department of Human Resources at Fort Wayne Community Schools, where he recruits prospective employees and assists with the hiring process. In 2014, Kody was appointed to the Metropolitan Human Relations Commission. He believes his education from the Department of Public Policy has given him the knowledge and skills necessary to be a valuable member of the greater community.
