Kent Kaffman Wins Award

Kent KauffmanKent Kauffman, and Assistant Professor of business law, was awarded the McGraw Hill/Irwin Distinguished Paper by the Midwest Academy of Legal Studies in Business, a track of the Midwest Business Administration Association (MBAA) International Conference, for his paper, "A Legal Analysis and Contrarian View of the Syllabus-as-Contract Perspective".  Kent Kauffman has also been recognized with the Faculty Colloquium on Excellence in Teaching or FACET Award!  Faculty Colloquium on Excellence in Teaching Award.  This is the state-wide award given to deserving Indiana University faculty based upon a teaching dossier submitted by nominated candidates.  The nominees go through a two stage selection process: one by a committee of current FACET members at IPFW and another by a state-wide committee of current FACET members form the IU campuses including Bloomington.  Not all candidates make it through the IPFW committee screening process and not all candidates forwarded to the state-wide committee are selected for the award.  Congratulations to Kent!
