Requirements

Special Program Requirements

Before Admission into the program:

  • Prerequisite courses may not be taken on a pass/fail option.
  • A minimum prerequisite GPA of 2.0/4.0 is required for entrance into the program.
  • Developmental courses will not be calculated in a candidate’s grade-point average (GPA). i.e., ENG W130 or ENG R150.

After program admission, but before classes begin the student must:

  • have a physical exam
  • receive the Hepatitis B Immunization series
  • receive the Hepatitis B titier (blood) test
  • complete TB testing
  • complete CPR certification

Thereafter, annual physical examinations, TB testing, and CPR updates are required.
