  • Graduated from the IPFW Dental Assisting program in 1985, program included Expanded Functions for Dental Assistants.
  • Graduated with AS from Purdue University in 1999 in Organizational Leadership and Supervision
  • Graduated with BS from Purdue University in 2005 in Organizational Leadership and Supervision
  • Graduated with MS from Purdue University in 2009 in Organizational Leadership and Supervision

Work Expertise

  • IPFW Dental Assisting Clinical Assistant Professor from 2005 to present
  • Worked twelve years in private practice, general dentistry, for Clayton Dunton, DDS as office manager and chairside assistant.
  • Certified Dental Assistant from 1985 to present
  • Licensed in Radiology from 1985 to present
  • Teaches Oral Anatomy, Embryology, and Histology lectures, Clinical Science lectures and labs, and Practice Management, Ethics, and Jurisprudence

Professional Community

  • Active member of the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA), Indiana Dental Assistants Association (IDAA), and Isaac Knapp Dental Assisting Society (IKDAS) from 1985 to present
  • Serving in several capacities including President, and many committee chairs of the IDAA & IKDAS
  • IPFW Dental Advisory Board Member

  • ADAA Education Coordinator from 2006 to present
